DocMake

Free shipping and logistics document templates

The documents that travel with a shipment: the CMR consignment note, the bill of lading, the waybill, the export packing list, the certificate of origin, and the delivery and dispatch notes. Each of the 7 templates below fills in the browser, through the REST API or through an AI assistant on the DocMake MCP server, and comes out as a Word (DOCX) file and a PDF. The free plan makes 1,000 documents a month, with no credit card.

Exporters, freight forwarders, hauliers and warehouse teams raise these for every load. Each names the sender and the receiver, lists the goods with their packages and weights, and leaves room for the carrier, the consignee or the chamber of commerce to sign or stamp.

The goods lists are one per item, so a load of one pallet and a load of forty cartons use the same template.

Questions about these templates

Which shipping documents are in the set?
A CMR consignment note for road haulage between countries, an ocean bill of lading, a waybill, an export packing list with a row per carton, a certificate of origin, a delivery note and a dispatch note. The commercial invoice and the proforma invoice sit with the finance templates.
Is the CMR template laid out with a box for each party?
Yes. It carries the goods, the instructions, and a box each for the sender, the carrier and the consignee.
Can our system make the documents for every shipment?
Yes. POST the shipment as JSON to the REST API and each document comes back as DOCX or PDF; an AI assistant can do the same through the DocMake MCP server.
